about

(Original Liner Notes)

Music vs Robots was recorded from May to September 2006. All tracks were written, performed, recorded and mixed by me, with the exception of the "Bottle Drum Sequence", where Ken Chambers played the didgeridoo, and mixed the track from 4 track cassette tape.
Thanks to those who inspired me to write and record this material. If you knew at all, you'd know that isn't easy for me to just release anything. Special thanks to: Mark, Scott, and Katie McDonald, New Copy and Design printing, and the late Dr. Robert Moog, for creating some of the sweetest musical instruments ever.
Arsenal: Moog and Roland keyboards, Fender Telecaster, Line 6 POD, Yamaha acoustic guitar, Wurlitzer piano (c. 1929), Ludwig Drums, and a Fender Mustang Bass.
